To generate employment, he said the government would encourage industries to establish units in Kamareddy and set up skill development centres for local youth.

Shabbir Ali also stressed the need to resolve irrigation issues in the constituency. He said he would soon meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy to discuss speeding up the Kaleshwaram, formerly Pranahita Chevella, project.

He alleged that changes made to the project during the previous BRS government affected irrigation benefits for Kamareddy farmers. He said efforts would be made to complete the project in line with the original proposal prepared during the tenure of former Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Shabbir Ali said every development programme would be implemented transparently to meet the aspirations of the people of Kamareddy.
