Jangaon, July 5: Two cars in BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao’s convoy collided near Station Ghanpur in Jangaon district, injuring an MLC mildly.
The convoy hit a sudden brake near Station Ghanpur, and two trailing vehicles collided from behind. The cars suffered front and rear damage. BRS MLC Shambhipur Raju, who rode in one vehicle, sustained a minor hand injury.
Staff gave first aid and alerted medical help. K.T. Rama Rao stopped the convoy and checked on Raju’s condition. After the inspection, leaders continued to Kannepalli as planned.
Authorities said a major accident was averted.
