Hyderabad, July 22: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday conducted simultaneous searches at multiple properties linked to TGTRANSCO Deputy Engineer Mutyam Venkataramana in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
The raids were carried out following allegations that the official had accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
ACB Conducts Searches at Multiple Locations
According to officials, eight ACB teams conducted coordinated searches at around 15 locations across Telangana, including the residences of the deputy engineer and his relatives.
The teams examined property documents, financial records and other materials as part of the investigation to verify the allegations and identify movable and immovable assets.
The searches are continuing, and officials said further details are expected to emerge after the verification process is completed.
The ACB is likely to announce the value of the assets detected after completing the searches and preparing a detailed report.
No official statement on the outcome of the raids has been released so far.
