New Delhi, July 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced that the government will establish fast track courts to ensure the speedy trial of cases related to examination paper leaks.
The announcement comes amid nationwide protests over the alleged NEET paper leak issue.
PM Modi Promises Swift Action Against Paper Leaks
Addressing an event, the Prime Minister said the decision to establish fast track courts was taken to ensure that those involved in paper leak cases are punished quickly and strictly.
He said he had directed the concerned authorities to take all necessary steps to implement the decision at the earliest.
Modi reiterated that the government is committed to protecting the interests of students and safeguarding the integrity of competitive examinations.
“There is no question of sparing those who play with the future of our youth,” the Prime Minister said.
The announcement follows widespread protests by students and political parties demanding strict action against those responsible for alleged irregularities in the conduct of competitive examinations.
