Peddi Sudarshan Reddy | Hyderabad, July 31: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) expressed deep grief over the demise of senior Telangana movement leader and former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy.
KCR described the loss as a personal tragedy, saying he had lost a close friend and a dedicated colleague from the Telangana statehood movement.
KCR conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, party workers, and supporters of Peddi Sudarshan Reddy. He assured the family that the BRS would stand firmly by them during this difficult time and urged party cadres to remain strong.

KCR said the party had made every possible effort to save Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s life and expressed anguish that the efforts of doctors ultimately proved unsuccessful.
Paying tribute to the former MLA, KCR said Peddi Sudarshan Reddy dedicated his life to the Telangana cause and upheld values of honesty and integrity throughout his political career.
He noted that Sudarshan Reddy emerged as a strong leader from Narsampet in the erstwhile Warangal district and played a key role in strengthening the BRS during the Telangana movement.
KCR said Peddi Sudarshan Reddy remained committed to the party from the days of the statehood agitation until his last breath. He added that the former legislator left a lasting mark through both his role in the Telangana movement and his efforts toward the development of his constituency.
Describing him as a loyal and committed party leader, KCR said Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s demise is an irreparable loss to the BRS.
