Telangana Rain Alert | Hyderabad, August 24: Telangana rain alert has been issued for several districts, with moderate to intense showers likely over the next few hours.
The latest 7.50 am alert indicates rain activity across central, northern and eastern parts of the state.
Siddipet, Jangaon, Hanumakonda, Warangal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and Mahabubabad are likely to receive moderate to intense rain during the morning hours. The rain may also extend to Suryapet and Khammam by around 11 am.
Another spell of moderate rain is likely in Medak, Kamareddy, Mancherial, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Adilabad and Peddapalli. These areas may receive showers over the next two hours.
Hyderabad may also receive drizzle or light rain during the same period. Residents in rain prone areas should remain alert, particularly during periods of reduced visibility and wet roads.
