Hyderabad Indiramma Towers Lucky Draw From Aug 28

Hyderabad Indiramma Towers | Hyderabad, August 26: The Telangana government will conduct lucky draws from August 28 to 31 to allot flats in Indiramma Towers to eligible applicants in Hyderabad.

The government has identified 40,900 eligible beneficiaries for the first phase of the housing programme. Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced the schedule after reviewing the project with senior Housing Department officials at the Secretariat.

The draw will take place in the presence of eligible applicants. The government will use the process to ensure transparency in the allotment of flats. Officials will conduct the draws at different locations across the Hyderabad core urban region.

The first phase covers 15 Assembly constituencies. The government has estimated the construction cost at Rs 807.40 crore. Minister Ponguleti said the tender process for these projects has already been completed.

The department received 60,720 applications for the first phase. Officials examined the applications and identified 40,900 applicants as eligible. They also rejected 19,820 applications after verification.

The government has made the reasons for rejection available on its website. Moreover, officials will return the Rs 10,000 earnest money deposit to applicants who did not qualify. The amount will be credited to their bank accounts.

Hyderabad Indiramma Towers Draw Schedule Announced

The government will conduct the Hyderabad Indiramma Towers lucky draws at selected locations over four days.

On August 28, draws will take place at Kowkur, Patigadda, Jalpally and Kulsumpura. On August 29, the process will cover the Jubilee Hills MLA Colony and Bowenpally areas.

Officials will conduct further draws at Gajularamaram and Amberpet on August 30. On August 31, draws will take place at Raidurg and KPHB Colony.

Meanwhile, the government has also identified sites for a new phase of Indiramma Towers. The projects will cover four additional Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad.

The new projects will come up in LB Nagar, Goshamahal, Musheerabad and Chandrayangutta. The government plans to construct 1,920 houses across these four constituencies.

Minister Ponguleti said eligible applicants should submit applications for the new projects by September 3. The department has completed the tender process for the first phase, while it is preparing the next phase.

The housing programme aims to provide permanent homes to eligible poor families in urban areas. The use of a public draw seeks to make flat allotments transparent and reduce disputes among beneficiaries.

The government is also expected to coordinate with local officials during the draw process. Applicants should verify the official schedule and reach their designated draw location as instructed.
