Internet/Hyderabad, Sept 16 (Maxim News): The Centre has declared Shahzad Bhatti Network (SBN) as a terrorist organisation. The Home Ministry has included SBN in the list of terrorist organisations under the UAPA Act. This action has been taken under Section 35(1)(a) of the UAPA Act. Shahzad Bhatti Network has been included as the 46th organisation in the First Schedule of the UAPA Act.
The Center has accused SBN of being involved in illegal trafficking of weapons, explosives and drugs. It has said that it is attracting youth towards terrorist activities. The Center has also revealed that SBN has links with other banned organizations. It has accused SBN of trying to disrupt public peace through violent activities. It has also said that it is spreading provocative messages through social media and digital communication platforms. (Maxim News)
