Hyderabad, Sept. 20: Around 30 students fell ill after suspected food poisoning at a Model School in Dhanwada mandal of Narayanpet district on Saturday.
The affected students were intermediate girls studying at the school, according to the available information.
School staff noticed that the students developed stomach pain after having lunch.
They immediately shifted the affected students to a local hospital for treatment.
Students Shifted to District Hospital
Another 15 students who reportedly suffered severe stomach pain were shifted to the district hospital for further treatment.
The condition of the students was not immediately available.
Officials and school authorities are expected to ascertain the cause of the illness.
