Telangana Extends Indiramma Towers Payment Deadline To October 9

Hyderabad, Oct 5: The Telangana government has extended the payment deadline for Indiramma Towers beneficiaries to October 9. The extension applies to beneficiaries who received provisional allotment letters after eligibility verification.

The Telangana Housing Board issued 5,501 provisional allotment letters across 16 Assembly constituencies in the Core Urban Region. However, only 3,271 beneficiaries, or 59.46 percent, have paid the required Rs 1 lakh allotment amount.

Indiramma Towers Payment Details

Kukatpally recorded the highest Indiramma Towers payment rate at 81.05 percent. Khairatabad recorded the lowest rate at 17.16 percent.

Serilingampally recorded 74.94 percent, followed by Quthbullapur at 73.87 percent. Nampally recorded 73.83 percent, while Karwan reached 68.85 percent.

Amberpet recorded 65.22 percent, Medchal 64.84 percent and Bahadurpura 62.53 percent. Ibrahimpatnam and Malkajgiri recorded 50.89 percent and 50.86 percent, respectively.

Secunderabad Cantonment recorded 48.05 percent, while Rajendranagar and Sanathnagar recorded 43.72 percent and 43.59 percent. Maheshwaram recorded 42.44 percent and Malakpet 32.67 percent.

Telangana Housing Board Vice Chairman V.P. Gautam said no further extension would be granted after October 9. He urged beneficiaries to make the payment to avoid cancellation of their provisional allotments.

Officials verified residential eligibility, income limits, house or plot ownership, the one family one application rule and submitted documents. Applicants living outside the concerned Assembly constituency were the primary group rejected during verification.

Other rejection reasons included higher income, existing house or plot ownership, multiple applications and incomplete documents. Applications lacking required documents were also rejected.

If beneficiaries fail to pay the allotment amount, their flats may be allotted to other eligible applicants from the eligibility or waiting lists.

The Housing Board plans to conduct another draw for around 35,000 eligible applicants in the coming months. The process will depend on flat availability and applicable rules.

Beneficiaries can check updates through the Telangana Housing Board website or contact the Housing Board Call Centre at 040-24603572. SMS and WhatsApp updates will also be sent from ‘TGHBO-S’ to registered mobile numbers.
