Four Constables Suspended | Hyderabad, Oct. 10: Four constables attached to police stations in the Ramagundam Police Commissionerate have been suspended over alleged irregularities in traffic challan collections between 2024 and 2026.
Ramagundam Commissioner of Police Amber Kishore Kumar Jha issued the suspension orders. The constables were posted at Mancherial, Naspur, Chennur and Luxettipet police stations and were assigned court related duties.
The action followed discrepancies between traffic challans issued to road safety violators and the corresponding fine amounts collected over the past two years.
Four Constables Suspended Memos Issued to 12 More Constables
Meanwhile, authorities issued memos to 12 other constables suspected of similar irregularities.

The alleged misappropriation came to light during an audit of traffic challans in Karimnagar district. Subsequently, a similar audit was conducted at police stations across the Ramagundam Police Commissionerate.
The audit reportedly uncovered further discrepancies, prompting disciplinary action against the personnel concerned. Further details about the amounts involved and the next steps in the inquiry were not provided.
