Hyderabad, Oct. 16: GMR Aero Technic has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Canada-based Corporation Logic Air Inc. to collaborate on aircraft modification, engineering, certification and obsolescence solutions.
The partnership aims to serve customers in India and international markets. It will focus on turnkey aircraft modification solutions that can be integrated during scheduled maintenance, aircraft redelivery programmes and transition checks.

The companies will explore opportunities to validate, adapt and implement eligible Logic Air Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) and modification data for Indian and international aircraft operators.
The collaboration will particularly target markets across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, according to the announcement.
GMR Aero Technic and Logic Air will also jointly pursue projects with airlines, aircraft lessors and cargo operators. They plan to strengthen local capabilities in installation, training, maintenance support and long-term aircraft sustainment in India.
Commercial arrangements will be determined separately for individual projects.
