BJP Leaders Back Kishan Reddy’s Criticism of Rahul Gandhi

Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 17 (Maxim News): BJP leaders Ram Kripal Yadav and Om Prakash Rajbhar on Saturday supported Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy’s criticism of Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav accused Gandhi of making irresponsible remarks and engaging in conduct he said was unbecoming of the constitutional position. Yadav said the Leader of the Opposition should maintain dignity and respect the responsibilities of the office.

Yadav also alleged that Gandhi’s protests were creating disorder and obstructing the country’s development. He questioned whether some of Gandhi’s actions were influenced by foreign forces, but did not provide evidence for the claim in his remarks.

Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar also backed Kishan Reddy’s remarks. He compared Gandhi’s conduct with that of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and accused both leaders of acting irresponsibly.

The statements followed Kishan Reddy’s press conference at the BJP state office in Nampally, Hyderabad, on Friday. Reddy criticised Gandhi over allegations of vote theft and irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

Reddy questioned the Congress party’s allegations against the Election Commission and electronic voting machines. He also criticised the party’s targeting of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

The Congress has raised concerns over electoral processes and the functioning of the Election Commission. The BJP has rejected those allegations and defended the poll body.

The latest remarks have added to the political dispute between the BJP and Congress over electoral rolls, the Election Commission and Gandhi’s protests. The accusations made by BJP leaders remain their political assessments and do not, by themselves, establish wrongdoing by Gandhi.
