Hyderabad’s Fore Fathers Pub | Hyderabad, Oct. 19: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has fined Fore Fathers Pub in Jubilee Hills Rs 20,000 for allegedly misusing drinking water. Officials also disconnected the pub’s water connection and stopped commercial tanker supplies.
The action followed a public complaint and a field inspection by Water Board officials. The establishment is located at Plot No. 872, Road No. 45, in Jubilee Hills.

HMWSSB has intensified efforts to prevent drinking water wastage and misuse. The board urged hotels, restaurants, pubs and other commercial establishments to use water responsibly.
Officials warned that violations would attract strict action. Penalties could include fines and disconnection of water supplies.
The board has also appealed to citizens to report incidents of drinking water wastage. People can share photographs or videos, details of those involved, and the location with the complete address.
Complaints can be sent through WhatsApp to 99499 30003. Residents can also contact the HMWSSB customer care helpline at 155313. The board says it will investigate complaints and take action against confirmed violations.
