Hyderabad, Oct. 19: ARSI Prasad died after sustaining serious injuries in a road accident while on duty, Medak District Superintendent of Police D.V. Srinivasa Rao said.
The accident occurred on Sunday evening as Prasad was travelling from Hyderabad to Medak. The vehicle reportedly skidded on the Narsapur-Medak route, leaving him seriously injured.
Medak SP Pays Tribute to ARSI Prasad
Prasad was initially taken to Narsapur Government Hospital. He was later shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment.
However, his condition deteriorated during treatment, and he died.
SP D.V. Srinivasa Rao described Prasad’s death as a major loss to the police department. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and wished them strength during the difficult time.
