Hyderabad, Oct. 25: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has introduced a ₹600 weekly bus pass for commuters travelling within Greater Hyderabad. The pass allows unlimited travel on eligible city bus services for seven consecutive days.
The new facility aims to help regular commuters, tourists and business visitors reduce travel expenses. Passengers can use the pass for unlimited journeys on city buses, including air-conditioned services.
However, the pass is not valid on Pushpak Airport Liner buses. TGSRTC has introduced the facility alongside its existing daily and monthly bus passes.
TGSRTC Weekly Bus Pass Available at City Counters
The weekly pass remains valid for seven consecutive days from the date of purchase. Passengers will not need to purchase separate tickets for individual journeys during the validity period.
TGSRTC has made the passes available at city bus pass counters across Hyderabad. Commuters can purchase them at their nearest counters, according to the corporation.
The facility is expected to benefit tourists, business visitors and people staying in Hyderabad for short periods. It may also offer a convenient option for residents who make frequent journeys across the city during the week.
TGSRTC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Y. Nagi Reddy said the initiative aims to encourage public transport use and provide affordable travel options.
He appealed to commuters travelling within Hyderabad for a week to make use of the new ₹600 pass.
