The complaint was lodged by Syed Rafeeq, 60, a cloth businessman and resident of Hafeez Baba Nagar. He runs a business under the name Suwad Bin Designer.
According to his complaint, his son Mashallah Omer left home at around 3:10 am on November 3. He intended to meet his childhood friend Aman Qureshi.
The meeting was reportedly arranged to discuss a rental dispute involving Omer’s maternal uncle, Abdul Barawaz.
At around 4 am, Rafeeq received information from Nisar, a friend of his elder son. Nisar reportedly informed him that Mashallah Omer had been attacked with a knife.
The attack occurred near SA Hair Cutting Saloon and Men’s Parlour Lane at Pathar Ka Makhan, B Block, Hafeez Baba Nagar.
The complaint stated that Omer tried to escape from the attackers. He reportedly ran towards Kareem Kirana Store, also known as Aunty Ki Dukhan, before collapsing.

When Syed Bin Mehfooz, 44, intervened in support of Omer, Aman allegedly attacked both men with a knife. He reportedly inflicted injuries on their necks.

The dispute concerned the vacation of a rented house near Siddique-E-Akbar Masjid in A Block, Hafeez Baba Nagar.
Police alleged that Omer had intervened in the dispute in support of his maternal uncle. This reportedly led to enmity between Omer and the house owner.
Investigators alleged that A-1 Abdul Khader entered into a criminal conspiracy with A-2 Aman Qureshi. He allegedly promised Aman a substantial amount to murder Omer.

Aman allegedly contacted Omer through a WhatsApp video call. He asked him to come near SA Hair Cutting Saloon and Men’s Parlour Lane to discuss the dispute.
Omer reached the location at around 3:20 am on November 3. He reportedly waited there for Aman.
Police alleged that Aman noticed Omer was alone and decided to execute the murder plan. He allegedly went home and returned with a knife within a few minutes.
Meanwhile, the other accused allegedly kept Omer engaged in conversation. They also positioned themselves around him to prevent his escape.
Aman allegedly concealed the knife at his waist. The other accused reportedly remained strategically positioned around the deceased.
Syed Bin Mehfooz then arrived at the location and intervened in support of Omer.
Aman allegedly stabbed Mehfooz in the neck. When Omer intervened to prevent the attack, Aman stabbed him on both sides of his neck with the same knife.
The injuries proved fatal, according to the police account.
Investigators also alleged that Aman snatched Omer’s mobile phone. The deceased had reportedly attempted to make phone calls before the attack.
All the accused then allegedly fled from the location on their respective two-wheelers.
Bloodstained Clothes Burnt; Knife and Phone Discarded
Police alleged that Khaled Bhaisa later took the bloodstained clothes worn by himself and Aman. He allegedly burnt them at a secluded location near Mallapur to destroy evidence.
According to investigators, Aman and Khaled had kept spare shirts in the storage compartment of their two-wheeler. They changed their clothes after removing the bloodstained garments.
The two then proceeded towards Pahadi Shareef Dargah.
Aman allegedly discarded the knife used in the crime behind Hotel Raghavendra at Pahadi Shareef. He also allegedly threw away the deceased’s mobile phone at the same location.
