Rajanna Sircilla, Nov. 5: Police have intensified surveillance on rowdy sheeters and history sheeters across Rajanna Sircilla district. As part of the drive, officers conducted surprise inspections at police stations and visited their homes on Wednesday night.
Police questioned them about their activities, lifestyles and movements. They also counselled them to stay away from crime and lead peaceful lives.

District SP Mahesh B. Gite warned that police would take strict action against anyone involved in anti social activities or disturbing public order.
He said police would continue monitoring the movements of rowdy sheeters and history sheeters. However, officials would also identify those who have reformed and consider removing their history sheets as per rules.
Police instructed the individuals concerned to report to their respective stations at specified times. They also warned that violations would invite binding action.
The SP said police would maintain strict vigilance to ensure peace across the district. He added that legal action would be taken against anyone involved in criminal activities.
