Jagtial, Nov. 6: A 10-month-old girl died after suffering an electric shock at her home in Rajarampalli village, Endapalli mandal, Jagtial district, on Friday morning.
The child, identified as Vibhudi Adya, was reportedly playing when she touched an electronic weighing scale plugged in for charging.
Her father, Tirupati, tried to pull her away from the weighing scale. However, he also suffered an electric shock during the rescue attempt.
The infant died before the family could take her to a hospital in Dharmaram.
The family reportedly earns its livelihood by buying and selling second-hand goods, rice and other items. (Maxim News)
