Defeat BJP & Congress In Polls: KCR
Hyderabad, April 7 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao vowed to increase amount for farmers investment from Rs 8,000 per acre to Rs 10,000 and also pension amount. KCR charged that the BJP government was talking of caste and religion to gain in elections. He promised to irrigate lands in the segment by giving waters to 50,000 acres in Nirmal and Mudhole and two lakh acres in Adilabad through SRSP and Tammidihatti projects respectively.
Addressing a public meeting as part of TRS campaign for its candidate G Nagesh in Nirmal segment, KCR alleged that the BJP failed to keep the promises and did not cooperate for State development. “As we succeeded in giving 24-hour power supply to farm sector, we will give increased amount to farmers, pension of Rs 2016 to beneficiaries and implement welfare schemes for allround development. He also claimed that the kin of deceased farmers are getting Rs 5 lakh ex gratia within week days and pensions to beedi workers.
Only the Telangana State was giving such pensions and 18 other States are not ready to give the same, KCR said. “We will come up with a new Revenue Act that the nation will surprise at it”, he said, adding that he addressed a problem of a farmer by seeing it in facebook. There was no need for farmers to make rounds of revenue offices as their passbooks will prove handy, he said. Hassle free ownership to the land owners will be provided with all steps as already reduced the columns in pass books to three from the previous 36 columns, he said.
He also alleged that the BJP was raking up communal issues for votes and people should not believe them. Modi government has failed to give turmeric board to Telangana, Rs 15 despite promise to put Rs 15 lakh into accounts of every person and no jobs created out of two crore every year. The BJP denied us funds and the people should reject them in the polls, he added. (Maxim News)
