Girls Top Inter Results, Medchal Ranks First, Medak Hits Bottom

Hyderabad, April 18 (Maxim News): Girls surpassed boys in Intermediate Examinations Results-2019 announced by State government today. The girls got 59.8 pass percentage in I Year and 65 per cent in II Year examinations respectively.

Education Secretary B Janardhan Reddy, along with Intermediate Board Secretary Ashok announced the results here and told media persons that Medchal District tops the results and Medak district remained at the last position. They also said the girls performed better than the boys in the examinations appeared by about nine lakh students held on February 27 to March 18. Janardhan Reddy said in Inter First year Medchal topped with 76 per cent, Ranga Reddy got second with 71 per cent and Medak last with 29 pass percentage.

Similarly in Second Year, they said Medchal stands first with 76 pass percentage while Komram Bhim district got second position with 75 per cent. Medak with poor 34 pass percentage marks remained last. The officials informed that Advanced Supplementary examinations will be held from May 14 and a schedule will be announced on April 19, while the last date for payment of fees is April 25. (Maxim News)
