Will Take Oath As CM Alone, Constitute Full Cabinet In 10 Days: Jagan

New Delhi, May 26 (Maxim News): YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said he had a courtesy meeting with Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Talking to mediapersons in Delhi after calling on Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi and BJP National Chief Amit Shah, Jagan Mohan Reddy said his meeting with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was cordial. “We have shared ideas on the issues pertaining to the two Telugu States and will cooperate with each other”, he said.

The YCP boss also said KCR extended all support for special category status to Andhra Pradesh State. “We need to maintain cordial relations with the neighboring States and will work together in future”, he said. Stating that he would implement all the promises he made during his poll campaign and Padayatra, Jagan Mohan Reddy said he discussed with Modi about special category status to AP. Since the residual State, after bifurcation, needed funds and support from the Centre for rapid growth and development, the TDP regime of Chandrababu Naidu had involved in corruption and several scams in five years.

Jagan also alleged that the TDP chief used his benamis to purchase lands and snatched lands of other people during land pooling. In the land deals, there was scam and the TD regime encouraged corruption and gave lands to its henchmen at low prices, he bemoaned. The YCP will bring about revolutionary changes in the governance routing corruption and ensuring transparency and accountability, he said, adding that an inquiry will be ordered into the Polavaram project if there was any scam and cancel contracts of the previous Chandrababu Naidu and Congress governments, who had filed wrong cases against me and I never entered the Secretariat when my father Rajasekhar Reddy was the Chief Minister and corruption charges are totally wrong, he added.
