Develop Yadadri As Smart Village In 3 Months: CS
Hyderabad, June 12 (Maxim News): Chief Secretary SK Joshi today directed officials concerned to prepare a plan to complete Yadadri Town as a smart village in three months. Chairing the meeting of Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) at Secretariat here today, he instructed them to submit a report on developing Vedic School.
Stating that the State Government has allotted 16 acres of forest land for Vedic School, the Chief Secretary sought a report on its works. He also instructed the officials to take up on a war-footing the works of facilities in the temple town. There was a need for expeditious works related to roads, parks, cables, streetlights, footpaths, water, power supply, lighting, underground drainage, storm water passage and better road connectivity he said.
The Chief Secretary asked the officials to develop Baswapur Tank as a Tourism center with all facilities to attract tourists. Joshi instructed the officials to initiate all measures to develop an Architecture College attached to the temple and make use of trainee sculptors in the development works. He also reviewed the works on the nearby lakes, which have to be beautified as per the plan surrounding the temple and its villages. (Maxim News)
