Cong Leaders Want CM To Fulfill All Promises
Hyderabad, Nov.5 (Maxim News): The Congress leaders on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao fulfil all the promises made to the affected people of Mid-Manair irrigation project.
In an open letter to the Chief Minister, the Opposition parties leaders have demanded that KCR fulfil his promise of constructing 5.04 lakh double bedroom houses at Vemulawada made on June 18, 2015 for the families of the affected local people. They also demanded that the Chief Minister provide affected villages of old Karimnagar district with requisite financial aid under different government schemes.
They also demanded the Chief Minister to extend the villagers to set up small businesses like poultry farm dairy farm sheep and goat farms. The leaders have also demanded the Chief Minister to extend Rs.2 lakh financial assistance to all the youth about the age of 18 years besides providing them with suitable housing sites irrespective of their gender. They also asked the CM to consider each affected village as a unit and allocate equal amount of land at the alternate site.
The party MLC T Jeevan Reddy, MLA D Sridhar Babu, TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar, PCC leader Adi Srinivas and M Satyam signed the letter addressed to the Chief Minister. (Maxim News)
