Errabelli Asks Officials To Expedite Medaram Jathara Works

Mulugu, Dec.1 (Maxim News): Panchayati Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said officials concerned to expedite works relating to Medaram jathara and also to ensure that Jathara goes off well without use of plastic anywhere.

The Minister was speaking at the first Zilla Parishad meeting , held under the chairmanship of Kusuma Jagadishwer, Chairperson. Girijan, Women and child Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod, M P Maloth Kavitha participated in the meeting as special guests.

Errabelli said chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao shown special interest in Jathara. Satyavathi Rathod said  Chief Minister was making efforts to see that the Jathara was conducted as a prestige festival. Shje said it was decided to purchase five acres of land in the name of the Devasthanam with Jathara funds.

MLA Seethakka, District Collector Narayan reddy, SP Dr Sangram Singh G Patil were among those present at the meeting. (Maxim News)
