Revanth Flays CM For Silence On Priyanka Murder
Hyderabad, Dec.1 (Maxim News): Congress party MP A. Revanth Reddy came down heavily Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his stoic silence over the brutal murder of Veterinary Doctor Priyanka Reddy. He said that it was unfortunate that the Chief Minister had not yet responded on the issue which moved the entire country.
He also termed it even more unfortunate that the chief minister did not visit the family members of the victim. Speaking to media persons after paying a visit at the house of the family members of the victim, Revanth Reddy alleged that the chief minister was holding parties at his camp office, when the whole country was mourning the death of the victim. He also targeted the state ministers KTR and T Harish Rao for their silence on the issue. He said that the two ministers should have visited the family members of the victim and consoled them.
Reddy also targeted State ministers Srinivas Yadav and Mahmood Ali for their controversial comments on the death of the victim. He said that the two ministers would have felt the pain being undergone by the family numbers of the victim if a similar incident took place in their family. Reddy also targeted the DGP of state Mahender Reddy and alleged that the top cop of the state was not properly handling the case. He demanded the immediate removal of the DGP from his post.
Speaking further Revanth Reddy said that he would raise the issue in Parliament and seek justice to the family members of the victim. Commenting on the punishment to be given to the accused for committing the heinous crime, Reddy said that that they should be hanged in public. (Maxim News)
