Talasani Predicts Rout Of Congress, BJP In Civic Polls
Hyderabad, Dec.29 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said the Congress and the BJP have no candidates to fight ensuing municipal polls.
Accusing the Congress and BJP parties of fearing the municipal polls, Talasani slammed TPCC president N Utham Kumar Reddy for his comments on BC leaders in the party and polling officials on announcing schedule for municipal polls. He appealed to TRS leaders not to contest polls independently if tickets are not given. TRS boss and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will decide the candidates and all have to support them for the municipal polls, he said.
Srinivas Yadav flayed the Congress leaders for their cheap politics on Backward Class leaders in the party. First of all, the Congress should get ready for the polls if have guts, he said. The minister took serious exception to Uttam Kumar Reddy’s allegation that the TRS was influencing the Election Commission. Uttam and others can’t go out without police protection and making false charges. The government was for protecting girls and women and Disha case culprits were no more, he said.
Talasani alleged that the Congress leaders were unhappy with Uttam Kumar Reddy for trying to ignore them and ridiculed Uttam Kumar Reddy’s comments against the EC on polls. He said the EC was ready with preparation of voter list, reservations and arrangements. “TRS victory in municipal elections is certain as people strongly support welfare and development programs. The Congress and BJP will bite the dust”, Yadav said.
He also said, “Our victory is clear in the elections as the Congress fears the same”, he said, adding that the Telangana government was committed to promote BCs and SCs for Lokayukta and State Human Rights Commission. (Maxim News)
