Hyderabad, Jan.9 (Maxim News): Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today planted three saplings at the Ministers Quarters here. Along with New Zealand MP Priyanka, the minister planted the saplings as part of green challenge made by TRS MP Santhosh Kumar.
The minister exhorted people to keep their premises green and give unpolluted environment to future generations. The program is an extension of Haritha Haram program in Telangana State, he said. The State government was planting several crores of saplings in Telangana State. The present-day world and the mankind need more greenery to beat pollution, he said and appreciated the motive as it helps build a new society and the world free of pollution. Later, he threw green challenge to New Zealand MP and friends in India, including Kalyan and Sunitha Vijay. (Maxim News)
