KTR Asks Municipal Officials To Atrive For Development Of Towns

Hyderabad, Jan.31 (Maxim News): IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said municipal officials’ role was key for rapid development. He released a Diary of Municipal Commissioners Associations here.

With the new Municipal Act being implemented, the officials have to improve for speedy growth. The State growth relies on development of towns, which was possible through commitment by officials. To reflect the new municipal Act, the officials should work more efficiently and create infrastructure and facilities in the municipal areas.

The minister said the State government was spending huge funds for development of the municipalities and corporations. He also said that necessary measures will be taken to address their issues, including promotions. (Maxim News)
