Congress Leader Heaps Praises On Center, State

Hyderabad, March 24 (Maxim News): All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary SA Sampath Kumar said praises on State and Central govt for taking various steps for prevention of corona virus.

He said that the Congress party was extending complete support to the two governments on the issue. He said that he was also happy to note that the state government had decided to give away Rs.1500 cash and 12 kgs of rice per head to 86 lakh white ration card holders of the state by keeping in view of the problems created by the corona virus. He however urged the state government to hike the amount as Rs.1500 announced by the State government was less than the monthly ASARA pensions being provided by it. Referring to the plea of the chief minister of the state KCR urging private companies to pay salaries to their employees during the lockdown period, he urged the CM to pay the wages to all NREGS card holders without insisting on doing any work.
