Tirumala, Nov.1 (Maxim News): Bowing to devotees demand the TTD announced on Sunday that it will resume some Srivari Arjita sevas on virtual platform on experimental basis inside Srivari temple from November 2nd week.
TTD on Sunday observed the arjita sevas Dolotsavam Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra deepalankara seva on experimental basis at Srivari temple in ekantham in view of central and state Covid guidelines.
The TTD also commenced preparations for release of online tickets for the above arjita sevas from November second week.
For Srivari Darshan, the arjita seva ticket holders have to separately purchase Rs 300 special darshan tickets as arjita Seva tickets did not entitle them darshan.
The arjita sevas held in ekantham inside Srivari temple in view of devotees demand and COVID-19 guidelines, will however be live telecast by the SVBC. The devotee grihastas would watch the live telecast in traditional dress. As per earlier practice the list of names and gothras of devotee grihastas will be placed at feet of lord.
It may be mentioned that the TTD has already resumed the Srivari Nitya Kalyanotsavam from August 7 onwards on virtual platform.
It may also be noted that the Srivari annual Brahmotsavam in September and the Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavam in October were also held in Ekantham inside Srivari temple as per COVID-19 guidelines. (Maxim News)
