TSRTC To Run 1,800 Special Buses For Sankranti
To cater extra passengers rush during Sankranti festival, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will run 1,800 special buses from Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from January 8 to 13.
The number of buses will be increased or decreased based on the demand for buses. And these buses will be run from MGBS, JBS, CBS, Uppal crossroads and LB Nagar. Besides, 1,800 buses, the TSRTC would also arrange 1,200 buses to ferry passengers from Telangana to other states including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
It is notified to the passengers that the price of the regular bus services will remain the same, the ticket prices for the festival special buses will be one and a half time more than the regular prices.
The Andhra Pradesh government also deployed special buses for Sankranti. Around 3,607 buses will be operated from January 8 to 13 to meet Sankranti rush.
