Eid-ul-Fitr: CM KCR Greets Muslims
Hyderabad, May 13 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today extended greetings to Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on May 14.
The chief Minister appealed to the Muslims to offer prayers at their homes instead of the Mosques by following corona protocols. Since there is no permission for gatherings and mass prayers during the pandemic and the lockdown the Muslims can offer prayers in the homes he reasoned.
In a communiqué the chief minister said that the festival is noted for peace, love, compassion and brotherhood. The chief minister hoped that the festival brings in cheer, peace and amity in the society.
The festival is celebrated across the world with religious fervours the chief minister said. The chief minister stated that Telangana is noted as “Ganga Jamuna Tehjib” that is amity among both the religions of Hindu and Muslims.
The government is for the brotherhood and peace love in the state he added. The government will continue to support the poor Muslims for ,he added. (Maxim News)
