HMWSSB Closed 2 Gates of Himayat Sagar And Osman Sagar

Hyderabad:The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Sunday closed two gates each of Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar.

Presently, five out of 17 gates of the reservoir are open with all the gates of Osman Sagar being closed. The gates were lifted to drain the flood water into Musi and keep water level in the reservoirs under control. As the rains have stopped in the last two days, the gates were closed.
