KCR is doing injustice to farmers : YSRTP leader YS Sharmila

Hyderabad, Nov.13 (Maxim News): The founder president of YSRTP YS Sharmila today came down heavily on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and alleged that the CM was doing a lot of injustice to the farmers of the state . She claimed that there was no movement in the CM even after the continuous deaths of the farmers.

She made it clear that the responsibility to provide minimum support price to the farmers lies on the shoulders of the state government. She made these remarks while addressing protest meeting of the party workers at Indira Park . The meeting was held protesting the statement of the CM on the issue of the purchase of paddy.

Speaking on the occasion, she mocked that the CM was holding dharnas instead of fulfilling the demands of the farmers to procure their paddy. Citing that neighbouring states are buying the paddy by giving bonus to the farmers, she asked the CM as to why he is not doing so.

She wondered if the CM would not buy the paddy until the farmers bowed his feet. She sought an explanation from the CM on the issue. She reminded that her late father and former CM YSR had bought fine quality rice by paying ₹300 per quintal as minimum support price to the farmers.(Maxim News)
