TSRTC to conduct mega blood donation camp on Nov.30

Hyderabad, Nov.27 (Maxim News): Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) along with Prahari Trust and Indian Red Cross Society will hold a mega blood donation camp in all TSRTC Depots, Bus-stations, Workshops, Bus Bhavan, on November 30 between 9am to 1pm .

All TSRTC employees, officers along with their families and friends, commuters will actively participate in this camp. Approximately 65 locations have been identified throughout Telangana for this Mega Event. This programme is for the benefit of Thalassemia & Cancer patients on behalf of TSRTC Management.

Due to Covid-19, there is shortage of blood in blood banks and hence TSRTC has taken up this mega drive to support this noble cause. Normally people who are healthy can donate blood twice or thrice in a year, and people should not have any myth that they will be put to inconvenience when they donate blood.

V.C.Sajjanar, MD TSRTC has appealed to all citizens to come forward and voluntarily participate by coming to their nearest TSRTC depot or nearest TSRTC bus station where blood donation camp is being organised and donate blood which will help save lives.

TSRTC Chairman Baji Reddy Govardhan, M.L.A, appreciated the noble initiative of Sajjanar, MD TSRTC and Mamidi Bheemreddy, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Hyderabad District, Y.Raghu Rama Rao, Founder Prahari Trust for being stake holders of this mega event. (Maxim News)
