CM Jagan issues orders to shift Waqf Tribunal to Kurnool

Amaravati, December 07: Andhra Pradesh government issued orders to shift the Waqf tribunal to Kurnool from Amaravati. CM YS Jagan directed the officials to shift the waqf tribunal to Kurnool (proposed judicial capital), which was selected as one of the three capitals. Earlier, the state government shifted the AP Lokayukta and the AP State Human Rights Commission to Kurnool.

Now, the government ordered to shift the waqf tribunal to the proposed judicial capital. Earlier, the state government told to the Court that they withdrew the three capitals proposal but shifting the government offices from Amaravati.
