Centre has the responsibility to help farmers: Council Chairman
Hyderabad, March 25 (Maxim News): The Chairman of the Telangana state Legislative Council Gutha Sukhender Reddy today said that the central government has the responsibility to help all the farmers of the country. He asked the state government to stop its vindictive attitude towards the state .
Speaking to media persons at his residence in Nalgonda town, he asked the central government to stop confusing the farmers of the state on the procurement of the paddy. He demanded the central government to procure paddy in the same Manner as Punjab state. He said that the central government should show a solution to the paddy problem during the ongoing Rabi season. He demanded the central government to procure the paddy without showing any discrimination .
He made it clear that the state government was ready to procure the paddy from the farmers and added that the central government has the freedom as far as the conversion of the paddy into any kind of rice . Reddy thanked MLCs for electing him as the chairman of the council for the second term. (Maxim News)
