Chandrababu reveals the reason behind the demand of merged village residents
Vijayawada, July 24 (Maxim News): TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu today raised the issue of the demand of the residents of the five merged villages of the State and added that the villages were now demanding the State government to remerge them with neighboring Telangana State as they lost hope in the ruling YSRC party.
Stating the villagers had become the victims of the recent floods, he said the villagers were suffering a lot as they don’t have power and drinking water for the last 14 days. He also said the flood-hit victims did not even have water to clean their houses. He alleged that the State government was not making any efforts to take up rehabilitation works like the removal of trees from roads, and slush from the drains in the flood-hit areas. He demanded that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy take steps to provide relief to the flood victims instead of wasting his time criticizing the Opposition political parties. (Maxim News)
