TRS scared of BJP’s growing popularity: Raja Singh

Hyderabad, July 26 (Maxim News): BJP leader T. Raja Singh today claimed that the ruling TRS was scared of the growing popularity of their party in Telangana.

In a statement here today, Raja Singh said the TRS leaders were making baseless comments against their party MLA Etela Rajender and the party leaders. He said the ruling party leaders did not have any right to talk about any of their party leaders and asked them to remember that the people of Huzurabad had approved Etela Rajender as their representative and ensured his victory in the by-elections. He alleged that the ruling party leaders were making immoral comments against Etela as he came out of the TRS after opposing its leadership. He claimed that it was the nature of the TRS leaders to throw mud on the opposition party leaders.

Referring to the cloudburst theory and foreign conspiracy comments of CM KCR, he said he was shocked to hear such comments from the mouth of the CM. Stating that the BJP will win elections in the entire country, he said their party was getting strengthened at the ground level. Citing the comments of the ruling party leaders asking the Governor if she was a scientist to comment on the cloudburst theory, Singh asked them to first ask KCR if he was a scientist to make comments on the cloudburst theory.

He asked the ruling party leaders to learn to respect the persons, who are holding constitutional posts like the Governor. He claimed that the BJP played an active role in separate Telangana agitation and added that the State was formed due to the support of their party in Parliament. While noting that there would not have been a single MLA of the TRS had the BJP did not extend support to the separate State. He also said KCR would not have become the CM of the State if there was no support of the BJP to the separate Telangana State Bill in Parliament. He warned the ruling TRS leaders to stop their mudslinging campaign against president of their party. (Maxim News)
