Milad-Un-Nabi celebrations to be unique this year

Hyderabad, September 22: In an attempt to make the Milad-Un-Nabi (SWS) celebrations this year more inclusive, the All India Majlis Tameer-E-Millat (MTM) in collaboration with MS Education Academy will organize various competitions for youth under the age of 21 from all religious backgrounds.

As part of the Youm-e-Rahmatul-lil-Almeen, apart from essay writing, elocution, quiz and Quran recitation, and sports, this year, the MTM will organize Coding and Robotics competitions that would be open for all youths irrespective of cast, creed, or religion. The competitions will be conducted from Rabi-ul-Awal 1 to 10 (September 29 to 08 October, depending on the sighting of the moon). While sports would be organized at various playgrounds across Hyderabad, the technology competitions will be organized with the help of the start-up incubator Adventure Park at the MS Education Academy Corporate office, at Masab Tank, Hyderabad. The tech competitions would include Hackathon, coding, robotics, and competitive programming where participants build, code, compete and create products and robots that help us deal more efficiently with our daily activities.

The sports events include cricket, football, shooting, volleyball, kabaddi, arm wrestling, and karate.

MS Education Academy Managing Director Anwar Ahmed said that the decision to open up the competitions for youths of all backgrounds was taken as Prophet Muhammad SWAS is Rahmath-Ul-Alameen, (Beneficial for all Mankind).
