Prakash Reddy, BJP State Secretary and N.V. Subhash, BJP State official spokesperson on Wednesday wrote to the Chief Electoral Officer and requested stringent action against the mob, who attacked Eatala Rajender, M.L.A., Huzurabad, at Palivela village of Munugode Assembly constituency, at 12 noon on November 1.

The BJP leaders brought to the notice of Chief Electoral Officer that on November 1 at around 12 noon, a mischievous mob led by MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, had attacked BJP M.L.A. They also brought to the notice of the CEO that the incident was earlier communicated by election agent Kapilavai Dilip Kumar stating that this particular village is a sensitive village and it was requested that Central forces, along with the local police, may be deployed in order to avoid any untowardly incident. But unfortunately, no policemen were present to protect this permitted rally.

We, once again request you (CEO) to take immediate action and to ensure that the election is conducted in a peaceful manner.”, they added. (NSS)
