Sanctioned Rs. 69.52 Crores for Adolescent Health Kits to Girl Students
Hyderabad, Nov 17: The Telangana government headed by the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has afforded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs. 69.52 crore towards procurement and distribution of Adolescent Health Kits to girl students studying in government schools and colleges.
The kits, comprising zipper bags, sanitary napkins and water bottles, would be provided to girl students studying in classes 8th to Intermediate second year in government schools and government colleges under adolescent health program. The expenditure shall be met from the National Health Mission (NHM) funds, said the State government in its order.
