Secunderabad, 20 Nov | The 72nd Inter Services Volleyball Championship for the year 2022-23 commenced at Eagle’s Indoor Volleyball Stadium, 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad on 19 Nov 2022.
The championship was declared open by Brigadier Suresh G, Commandant 1 EME Centre. A total of four teams, two teams of the Indian Army (Army Red & Army Green), and each team of the Indian Navy and Indian Air Force are participating in this prestigious Championship.
In the inaugural match, the Army Red team defeated the Army Green team with a set score of 3-1. The defending Champion team Indian Navy beat the Indian Air Force team with a score of 3 -1.
