Revanth Furious On Police Behavior Of Arresting The Opposition Leaders Before KCR Visit
Hyderabad, Jan 12 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), President, and MP Revanth Reddy were furious with the behavior of the police.
During the visit of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to Bhadradri Kothagudem district, the Congress leaders in Kothagudem have been arrested which is undemocratic which is like the rejuvenation of dictatorial rule. He said when KCR is visiting, the main opposition party Congress leaders are arrested from midnight and detaining them in the police stations. Is this a kingship? he asked, Revanth Reddy warned that the arrested Congress leaders and activists should be released immediately under no condition, if not released they will launch an agitation.
Meanwhile, during the visit of KCR to Kothagudem today, the Congress, BJP, and tribal leaders were detained by the police. Leaders of Adivasi Abhudaya Sangam condemned the police actions. Kothagudem district BJP President Koneru Satyanarayana was arrested by the police. (Maxim News)
