Governor greets nation on the eve of 74th Republic Day

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundara Rajan extends her warm greetings to all on our 74th Republic Day Celebrations. The Constitution of India came into effect on this very day in the year 1950.

In her message, the Governor said 73 years ago, India has become a Republic country, where the people have the collective power to design their destiny. This is the day to celebrate our democratic and Republic country and be proud of its sovereignty.

I offer my greatest tributes to Baba Saheb Dr. BR Ambedkar and other architects of our great Indian Constitution who enshrined the noble principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity. At a time when the country is celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – the 75 years of Independence and India’s presidency of G20 countries, it is important for all of us to take forward the spirit of Republic day among all sections of the people.

On this auspicious occasion of the 74th Republic day, let us all re-dedicate ourselves to the cause of upholding the ideals, rights, and values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. (Maxim News)
