TSMFC Received 2.16 Lakhs Applications For Financial Assistance

Hyderabad, Jan 26 (Maxim News): The Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation (TSMFC) has received a whopping 2.16 lakh applications for financial assistance from the poor families of Muslim aspirants.

it may be recalled that the State government headed by Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao before the Assembly elections this year has released funds of Rs. 120 crores under two categories of scheme Cate – 1 Rs. 1 lakh loan and Category 2 Rs. 2 lakh loan with the subsidy component in the first category being 80 percent and for the second category, it is being 70 percent. for which whopping 2.16 lakh applications were received.

In the last 9 years of BRS rule under KCR, such schemes has been introduced earlier about 4 years back for which also 1.58 lakh applications were received from the poor Minority aspirants, and all these applications were thrown in the dustbin. Similarly, it has also introduced the schemes naming as “Own your Auto scheme, or “Own your Car scheme” after fiving to few eligible, these schemes kept aside probably stopped almost. Since the KCR came to power in the year 2014, not even more than 40 percent of the budget has been spent, if the entire budget has been spent every minority will get a share of about Rs. 13.000, but where this budget amount is going is not known and where it is being spent is not clear.

However, this time, hope among the poor minorities has arisen and they have given the application for financial assistance, it is said that the Minorities Welfare department has started the verification exercise.

Teams comprising the local minority welfare officers assisted by the revenue authorities would conduct the verification of the applications and then send a list of the selected beneficiaries to the TSMFC. “After receiving the list of the beneficiaries we will transfer the amounts to their account. Our target is to complete the exercise by February end said TSMFC Chairman, Imtiyaz Ishaq. (Maxim News)
