ACB Caught RR Joint Collector for taking Rs. 8 Lakhs Bribe

ACB | Hyderabad, Aug 13 (Maxim News): Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Ranga Reddy district Joint collector and senior assistant red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 8 lakh.

ACB Director C.V. Anand said on Tuesday that the ACB trapped and arrested joint collector M.V. Bhoopal Reddy and Senior Assistant Y.Madan Mohan Reddy of the district collectorate who colluded and abused their official positions.

The official said they were caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 8 lakhs from the complainant for removing 14 guntas land from the prohibited list in the Dharani portal.

“The duo took many precautions to receive the money without getting exposed. But our teams remained one step ahead and spontaneously strategized throughout the night and trapped them. he said. (Maxim News)
