Film actress Amani joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Hyderabad on December 20. The joining took place at the BJP office in the city. State BJP President Ramchandra Rao was present during the programme. The development marked Amani’s formal entry into active party politics.

According to the information released, Ramchandra Rao invited Amani into the party. He welcomed her by covering her with a party scarf at the BJP office. The ceremony remained brief and formal. However, it drew attention due to the presence of senior leaders and the participation of a well known film personality.

Union Minister Kishan Reddy also attended the programme. Other party leaders and members were present during the event. Meanwhile, BJP workers gathered at the office to witness the joining. The leaders interacted with those present as part of the programme.
