Hyderabad, August 11: Cloud ERP company Acumatica has opened a Global Capability Center in Hyderabad to expand its engineering operations.
The new centre is located in Nanakramguda and began operations with more than 30 employees. The company plans to add more staff in the coming months.
Acumatica said the Hyderabad GCC will support product innovation and help serve customers across global markets.
Hyderabad Centre To Drive Engineering Growth
The Hyderabad centre will initially focus on engineering activities. However, Acumatica plans to expand into other functions as its regional operations grow.
The new GCC joins the company’s operations in the United States, Canada, Serbia and Sri Lanka.
Acumatica Chief Engineering Officer Miten Mehta said India offers a strong engineering talent pool and a growing technology ecosystem.
He said Hyderabad was selected to support the company’s next phase of global innovation.
The company said the centre will allow its India based teams to develop products and capabilities for customers worldwide.
Acumatica established the Hyderabad GCC in partnership with Summit Consulting Services, an ANSR company.
The partnership will support capability planning, talent strategy and operational expansion.
Meanwhile, Acumatica is hiring engineering professionals for its Hyderabad centre. The company said the expansion reflects its long term commitment to building a globally distributed engineering organisation.
